Clinical Trials at March 14 New Haven Artspace Underground

Come out to the Artspace Underground art party on March 14 to hear some great grungy electro music from Clinical Trials.

Clinical Trials is Somer Bingham from Brooklyn. She describes the sound as “part sultry and screaming vocals … with part electronic MIDI controlled delicacies harvested from a compliant G4 Powerbook and throw in some Joel Frost on the kit for that extra punch.”

Somer has played all over New York at venues like The Sidewalk Cafe, Rockwood Music Hall, The Delancey, The Slipper Room, and in music festivals like the Anti*Pop Music Fest (Orlando), Phasefest (D.C.), The Antifolk Festival in the East Village, M.E.A.N.Y. Fest, and the Hyperactive Festival in Albuquerque, NM. In the fall of 2007 she toured France & Germany with The X-Tra Pleasure Burning Band, a garage rock band based in Annecy, France.

The live show takes the electro-grunge sound of the recorded tracks and adds so much energy, it’s tough to resist the temptation to get up and dance.
